Mclaren Hotel - North Sydney, Sydney

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The rooms were very spacious with high ceilings, and the parking access was great. The lovely ambience with a King bed and private courtyard made socializing with work colleagues a breeze. The amenities provided in the room were everything I could wish for.

The hotel was smaller than the one pictured, with complimentary Port and Sherry in the room. It was on the second floor with no elevator, and a bit noisy due to early morning street work when the window was open.

My stay at the hotel was delightful! The room was spacious with a big bathroom, perfect for rainy days in July. The North Sydney location was ideal, close to the train station and restaurants. The staff were friendly, and the $8 continental breakfast was great value. Free secure parking added to the fantastic experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, with a nice firm bed and a hot shower. It was quiet in the early morning, which was perfect for a good night's sleep. I even got upgraded to a more spacious room with a view at no extra cost. The dining room had a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, which I found really nice.

They are larger and open up to an outside verandah looking out to the garden, demonstrating attention to detail and being well-located. The service was brilliant from the moment of arrival, ensuring the room was good and beautiful, with very friendly and helpful staff. The location was superb, with free onsite parking in a secure garage, an easy walk to convenience stores, cafes, and transport, and being a ten-minute walk to the North Sydney train station. The dining experience was adequate but a bit uninspired, with a real bargain continental breakfast lacking some European choices. The facilities were good. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
